Does UV work on San Diego municipal water?
Municipal water is already disinfected with chloramine, so UV’s job there is insurance: a non-chemical safeguard against anything that enters the water after treatment, through aging pipes or during outages. On well water, UV is doing primary disinfection and matters far more.
Does UV change how my water tastes?
